Oh baby!
So the baby quilt that I am working on didn’t get finised in time. My crafty mother, however, managed to get TWO finished for our baby! I am madly in love with this first one. We didn’t know if it was going to be a boy or a girl, so they are both gender neutral. This first one is from the Denyse Schmidt book, the Drunk Love pattern. The stitching is beyond cool…

This one is an Irish chain made from some Tula Pink fabric. Can you spot the little snails?

I have a feeling that our baby will have plenty of stuff made from Tula Pink’s lines since…. it’s a GIRL!!

These quilts are amazing! How lucky you and your daughter are to have a mom that quilts. The fabrics and the colors in the first quilt are some of my favorites!
Congratulations on your beautiful girl! I am about to embark on a Drunk Love quilt for my twins – can you give me any information about the fabric your mom used? If only I had a quilting mother! – Jenn
Thanks for the compliments! I stop to gaze at it each time I walk by it. As for the fabrics… the solids are all Kona cottons. I know there are a couple of tiny orange/white and red/white stripes and those are American Jane fabrics. The others are a mix of prints she picked up at various shops. I’ll call her to see if there are any selvages left to look at.
Such a cute little girl!
Just came across your blog… very nice work!! I love this Drunk Love quilt, great colours… I’ll be back!! Lx
I love all of the quilts you and your mom have done. Did your mom do the quilting, or was it professionally done? It is amazing!
VERY cute little girl, too!!! Adorable.
who did the stitching on the Drunk Love…I LOVE IT and want to know how to do it!
Can I commission a replica of the above Drunk Love quilt? Seriously. I l-o-v-e, LOVE it! It is exactly what I have been searching for but unable to find. Please email me. Thank you.
