Quilt Market, Schoolhouse and a Demo! It’s countdown time!

May 11, 2012

Quilt Market, Trade Show Catalog, Product Catalog, Modern Sewing Pattern, Empty Bobbin

A week from today, I will be standing in my very own booth at Quilt Market! And right here in Kansas City, too!

I am so excited for all of the hard work to come together and for the supplies to get out of my garage and basement and onto the trade show floor. My booth is currently standing in our garage… and the neighbors are getting quite curious!

If you will be at Market, you can find me in booth #1033 (standing next to my handsome and helpful husband!). Come grab one of the snazzy catalogs pictured above!

In addition to my booth, I will be presenting a Schoolhouse on Thursday. It’s all about some great class options for quilt shops to offer, using my patterns. Someone I know (who teaches a lot of classes) took a peek at my handouts and was thrilled, so be sure to pass along this session to your local quilt shop! The details:

“Class is in Session with Empty Bobbin Sewing Studio”

Thursday, May 17th     4:55-5:25pm     Room 2209

Let Shea show you how easy it is to create classes based on her popular quilt and holiday patterns. Modern sewists and traditionalists alike will delight in her easy-to-kit, eye-catching projects. You’ll enjoy the free class outlines, supply lists, and door prizes.

I’ll also be doing a demo of my Home Sweet Home pillow pattern in the Checker booth on Saturday at 10:30am! There are so many great features about this pattern that make it a great class option and selling tool for shops. I am excited to share with store owners!

So, if you will be at Market, be sure to stop by booth #1033. I’d love to meet you!

I am so, so excited for you, Shea! I know all of your hard work is going to pay off. And don’t worry about gate crashers – I’m totally a door guard for 9 (!) hours on Thursday. I’ll protect you with my life.

I have no doubt that you’ll be very successful at Quilt Market and I look forward to hearing about it when it is all said and done. Take LOTS of pictures!

I’ll be looking you up Shea. I did not realize that you lived in KC. I hope I can get one of those sweet catalogs you have there. See you then. I am doing two at once. The IMQA and Market overlap a bit so am spreading myself pretty thin
