Introducing Somewhere Under!
The quilt pattern is from Jessica Levitt, an Empty Bobbin Designer. You may recognize these if you attended QuiltCon this year! The pattern three different size options and Jessica’s detailed instructions and diagrams.
Somewhere Under can be pieced either wonky or straight and includes instructions for the optional flange binding and pieced backing, which uses scraps left from piecing the quilt top.
Jaime, one of my pattern testers, made this beautiful full sized quilt. I love the tones she used!
And I made this baby/wall sized version from a variety of black and white prints and some Robert Kaufman Essex Linen in Yarn Dyed Black as the background. The back is a vivid teal color!
Want to make your own handmade Somewhere Under quilt? You can find a copy of the pattern in digital form in my PDF pattern shop or in printed form at many of the stores listed on my Patterns page, under “Where to Buy.” I’d love to see one when you finish it! If you are a shop owner, you can order from me or find the pattern in stock with United Notions, Checker and Brewer.
